Saturn is one of the most easily recognizable planets in our solar system, famous for it's giant rings that are so large they're visible with even the smallest telescope. Mostly made of rock and ice, the rings orbit the planet alongside 52 confirmed moons/satellites with almost 30 more waiting official confirmation and likely many more waiting discovery. One of these moons is Titan, the second largest moon in the solar system and the only moon known to have its own atmosphere.

Saturn is also unique for a few other features. Like being the only planet in the solar system that is less dense than water. Meaning that if you could put Saturn and all the other planets in a large enough body of water, it would float on top while all the others would sink.

And much like Jupiter's great red spot, Saturn also has its share of distinguishing storms. The hexagonal shaped polar vortex found in the northern pole and its more circular shaped sibling in the southern pole do not move around the planet and are thought to be shaped by the spinning of the planet itself. Which isn't surprising considering Saturn whips around on its axis every 10.7 hours.
